Experience

Engineering experience across industry and team projects

Hands-on work in industrial controls, power systems, and battery design. Each role sharpened how I reason about signal flow, hardware constraints, and validation under real engineering requirements.

Industry experience in power systems and industrial controls that sharpened a practical understanding of control systems and signal flow, from field instruments to PLC I/O.

  • Designed PLC panel drawings for Panels 1–7 at the Enwave district energy facility, populating DI/DO/AI/AO card sheets and motor control I/O lists from field-marked redlines, and cross-referencing instrument tags between panel slots.
  • Drafted SLD and control panel wiring schematics in AutoCAD Electrical for compressor station and process piping projects, tracing signal flow from field sensors (P/T/F transmitters) to PLC inputs across schematic packages.
  • Delivered 350 as-built revisions for Shell Montney Electrification, applying field redlines to AutoCAD drawings and reconciling installed equipment against design intent across the IFR → IFC → as-built engineering cycle.

Battery and powertrain electrical design for a student electric-bike team, focused on safe, validated lithium-ion pack configurations.

  • Designed and evaluated lithium-ion battery configurations (10S2P vs 10S3P) using Molicel INR18650-P28A cells.
  • Calculated nominal voltage, capacity, maximum discharge current, and energy storage for each configuration.
  • Performed electrical calculations validating current limits and safety margins for safe operation.
